I went to visit my childhood home 6 years ago, and everything was the same as when we left, including the piece of wood with our apartment number on our entrance door. My dad carved it. I asked him why, and his answer was the exact reason I'm a designer. He told me "everything that exists has been designed, one way or another". I realized that this was my goal, to make sure the things that exist because of me, exist with intention.
